we all know what is dharm &adharm. all good doings are dharm and bad doings, which harms person or society ,is adharm.
In genral dharm has taken as cast & its rituals, rules and regulations to act and obey them.Dharm is known as Hindu,Muslims ,Shikh, Isaai ,Parsi,Yahudi etc. Genraly person acts accordinly to the rules ,regulations and satisfies that he \she has observed (નિભાવ્યો ) SWA DHARM
But .no,This is not swa dharm .It has no connection or relation with above said dharm .SWA MEANS OWN & DHARM MEANS DUTY .Own duty is swa dharm.A person may be of any cast .sub cast or cult ,it does not matter when time comes .
If somebody is in difficulty (of any type ) and we are nearby to help him \she ;and we DO help without thinking about his \her cast or result or without any expectation in return at that moment ,then we can say that we observed our SWA DARM .At that time miserable person does not need our lecture ;that because of your wrong deeds in past you are suffering ,so suffer. What can I do ? OR Thinking that OH, I don't know about his \her cast, whether he \she is touchable or not ,how can I help ? Let people from thiere cast or known person ,they will help .I can not loose my "swa dharm "! ! AND take pride of observing swa dharm. NO it is shamefull act.
Swa dharm differs with each person. Every person has his own swa dharm according to special time, place and situation.Nothing abides .no gnaati. no rules &no regulations of any cast or cult.
The person who does karm-duty - with full dedication is swa dharm .Aachaary Vnoba bhaave had define it this way. My words may not be exectly as his; but the meaning is :
"Any one , who ,with stable mind i.e.(સ્વસ્થ-ચિત્ત ) putting aside own selfishness, and thinking about good for society, without any expectation or desire for fruits. decides his \her karm (કર્તવ્ય ); and soul -aatmaa - seconds that decission is SWA DHARM ."
After understanding this,we have to understand about karm yog .What is KRAMYOG? Duty or karm has to be done with full devotion and dedication (પૂર્ણ ભાવ ) is karm yog -or we can say (નિષ્કામ કર્મ )
let us have an example . There are two farmers. both bowes seeds ,but one do it thinking for his family . He thinks to make family happy by feeding and live in peace .
Other farmer thinks " people call me father of univers. To feed all of them is my duty .If i do not work hard for getting more crop all will starve !It is My responsibility towards society and make them happy.
both will take crops but 1st one will not share it and keep with him for his family; which is HIS duty ,while 2nd one gives priority to society and then keeps remaining for his family. So his karm turns into YOG. the feeling (ભાવના -પૂર્ણ ભાવ ) towards society makes him karm yogi .
karm yog upleafts the person . (આત્માનું ઉર્ધ્વ ગમન ) every aatmaa wants to join with "parmaatmaa " and such each step takes towards HIM .Because of such KARM YOGI society stays stable ,healthy ,wealthy and peacefull .
But there are two hinderances which try to descend karm yogi. when a person starts duty with feeling that "This is what I like to do "and "This is my duty and i m doing it with full efforts but I do not like to do " These two ; likes is called RAAG and dislikes called DWESH the 2nd farmer had done his duty with liking -raag -;but at that time if had thought " I m doing this but it needs much more hard work and i have to do though I do not like ."THIS is dwesh .
so a kram yogi should overcome from this RAAG-DWESH and become stable minded

(સ્થિત પ્રજ્ઞ )
karm yog needs sthit pragnta too .
At rhe end I would like to say :, swa dharm has no linknwith cast or cult and their rules 2ndly swa dharmi becomes KARM YOGI while practising it he should leave RAAG -DWESH and try to be sthi prsgn .Do karm with SAAKSHI BHAAV .
Gandhi ji has given key to understand 3rd chepter of Geeta is :LIFE IS FOR SEVA NOT FOR MEVA I.E. ENTETAINMENT (જીવન સેવા માટે છે ,ભોગવવા માટે નહી )
Thank you all for listening me passions .
